Upcoming 2016 Videogames For Christmas Time


As the new year is right around the corner, here are the top games that are recently released or will soon be released in the upcoming few months.

These will be really great videogames to get, as most people are anticipating these.

#1 Pokemon Moon – Nintendo 3DS Moon Edition

Pokemon Moon will launch in the United States in November 18th this year (2016) exclusively for the Nintendo 3DS system. This story is about embarking on a new adventure as a Pokemon trainer. Your mission is to catch, battle, and trade all-new Pokemon on the tropical islands of a new region and become a Pokemon Champion. This game is rated E for everyone with mild cartoon violence. We chose to put Pokemon on the list because it is still a highly demanded game and never gets old regardless of your age. (Admit it)

#2 Pokemon Sun – Nintendo 3DS Sun Edition

Pokemon Sun will launch as well on November 18th of this year (2016)

#3 Paper Mario: Color Splash – Wii U Standard Edition

Paper mario in this game takes on an RPG-turned-action styled adventure while Mario is accompanied by a talking paint-can sidekick named Huey. Their mission is to bring back color to the paint-drained land of Prism Island, to regain the six stolen Big Paint Stars. (Stolen by Bowser) Each battle you encounter will be using something called Battle Cards, to be powered up by colors, and gamers will be driven to fill each colorless spot in every level throughout the world.

#4 Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue – PlayStation 4

Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 has been announced as the “Final Chapter Prologue Limited Edition” which will be a free upgrade to all users who pre-order this game. The limited edition includes an official Disney collector’s pin featuring Sora and Mickey, as well as limited edition packaging. Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue will launch for Playstation 4 on January 12 in Japan in North America and Europe.

#5 Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration – PlayStation 4

The award winning Rise of The Tomb Raider will be releasing a special edition on October 11th this year (2016) which will feature the main game along with a new Extreme Survival difficulty mode to challenge very experienced players. As well as “Blood Ties & Lara’s Nightmare” premium DLC. It will also provide Co-op support for Endurance Mode that will challenge players to survive extreme conditions with a friend. There is re-envisioned cold-weather outfits and a weapon for Lara inspired by Tomb Raider III. There is Classic Lara card pack which will allow fans to play Expedition Modes using one of the several classic Lara models.

Additionally the all existing DLC includes Baba Yaga: The Template of the Witch, and Cold Darkness Awakened. 12 outfits, 7 weapons, 35 expedition cards, and more. Support ALSO includes for the Playstation VR that challenges new players to unlock the mysteries of the Croft Manor in first person.

#6 FIFA 17 – PlayStation 4

FIFA 17 is a football game that is introducing a new game play mode called: The Journey. The Journey is a new story-based mode centering on a man called Alex Hunter, a young player that is entering into the world of professional football. It has been built from a mix of gameplay, dialogue, and cutscenes, which show Alex’s character development with his family and teammates. Conclusively it shows if its talent is enough to jump-start his dream career.

#7 Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare – PS4 Legacy Edition

This game initially had some bad rap from the COD audience, but we want to give it a second chance. CoD: Infinite Warfare is almost a month away from its release. In the full game you can play up to six combat rigs in the full game. Each rig or (giant mech suit) is specifically designed for a certain kind of attack or defense. The release date for this game is on November 4th, on the PS4, Xbox ONE, and PC. For you guys who get the special edition , you will get a free copy of the Modern Warfare Remastered. If you pre-ordered for the PS4, you can play the remastered version of Modern Warfare right now. The multiplayer will be available at launch and will feature 16 maps from the original game.

#8 Gears of War 4 – Xbox One

Gears of war 4 sets a template from the last installment, however in this game they added a few new elements to the formula thanks to the studios new group called “The Coalition”. In this game there are an unusual new selection of enemies and weapons, which thought would be a good addition to the Gears series. For example, slamming down on your enemies when you when you release a trigger. The cover in this game is also a lot more destructible in this game.

#9 Mafia III – PlayStation 4

Mafia 3 is set in the city of New Bordeaux, a fictional reimagining of New Orleans, during the late 1960s, as you play a character named Lincoln Clay, a Vietnam War veteran returning to a society that is blowing up with racial tension and post-war politics. As always, you find your character betrayed by the mafia and start to embark on a brutal tale of violence and revenge.

#10 Battlefield 1 – Xbox One

Battlefield 1 introduces the theme of World War 1, with a twist of some experimental weapons of the era that never came to the main battle. The DICE team attempts to take a break from modern warfare and do a taste of WW1.
